Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is known for being larger than life. This project was designed to be more than just a retail environment… It was about extending the guest experience beyond the habitats and designing a space that felt welcoming, magical, and connected to the spirit of the Zoo. From the earliest concepts through implementation, it was a great collaboration between designers, architechts, and operations teams.

The massive tree in the center of the shop is not only an impactful visual, it houses plush in a creative and efficient way. This tree design was awarded Fixture of the Year for 2025, courtesy of the Shop! Association.
